Join us for our 6th Annual Pig Pickin’ on April 18th from 12-6pm.
This year is gonna be our best year yet! This is a PBV party that you don’t want to miss!
We’ll start the day with the Eric Congdon Trio on the main stage from 12-3, followed by Wiregrass from 3-6! Craft vendors will be out in full force along the lawn. Everything from locally made salts – (some made with PBV wine) – woodworking -flowers – locally made artwork – clothing boutiques and more. We really have something for everyone!
BBQ competition at 2pm where you head out to taste and vote on “The Best” BBQ. This year we are adding a Sauce category that will be voted on as well. Our Pit Masters really are all in and they do a really great job! Pit Masters include (in alphabetical order) Bird Mountain BBQ, BradyQ BBQ ( reigning champion), JB’s BBQ, and M3 Butts.
We also cook a whole pig in the “La Caja China” Lunch includes: pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, mac and cheese, green beans, corn bread, dessert and more!
The Burning of the Vines has become a tradition at the Pig Pickin’! This is something you don’t want to miss!
We’ll have Cornhole, Horseshoes, and other games!
